About Us

Aptitude 8 is the leading HubSpot solutions consultancy for companies with complex CRM operations, advanced tech stacks, and ambitious growth goals. We design and implement CRM, data, automation, and RevOps solutions that unlock revenue performance and operational excellence. You’ll join a rapidly scaling team of builders and operators who want to experiment, solve hard problems, and deliver outcomes that matter.

At Aptitude 8, you’ll find remote flexibility, 401k, great benefits, meaningful work, growth opportunities, and the chance to shape the future of how companies operate!

About the Role

We’re seeking a performance marketer who can deliver against the strategy and manage the systems behind generating a high-quality pipeline. As our Demand Gen Manager, you’ll lead campaign execution, optimize funnel performance, and use AI to make our systems and reporting smarter and faster as we scale.

This role blends hands-on demand gen work (paid media, email nurtures, webinars) with platform management across HubSpot and all other campaign and funnel reporting. You’ll also build and maintain the AI-enabled infrastructure (think Clay, GTM engineering workflows, and automation) that lets a lean team punch above its weight. You’ll support our Partner, customer, and pipeline marketing initiatives.

A normal day in this role: In the morning, you're reviewing paid ad performance to optimize spend. By noon, you're building a nurture workflow in HubSpot and using Clay to enrich and score inbound leads before they hit Sales. Later, you're prepping a customer campaign to boost G2 reviews and wrapping up an AI-assisted reporting dashboard that surfaces the why behind campaign ROI for the Chief Marketing Officer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns across digital, email, and events
  • Manage paid media and conversion optimization
  • Own marketing automation, database health, and lead scoring in HubSpot, layering in AI-enabled enrichment and intent signals where it sharpens targeting
  • Design and build AI-enabled operations workflows (e.g., Clay enrichment, AI-assisted list building, automated lead routing) that cut manual work and speed up execution
  • Own audiences and segmentation
  • Align closely with Sales, and Partnerships to optimize lead handoff and SQL quality
  • Track performance, create AI-assisted dashboards, and analyze campaign ROI, using AI to surface insights faster, not just report numbers
  • Lead customer marketing initiatives (reviews, upsell nurtures, referral programs, etc.)
  • Serve as a HubSpot subject matter expert and build demos to support marketing and partnerships content
  • Support partner marketing execution and campaign deployment
  • Leverage Content Manager to ensure campaigns are powered by rich content that speaks to our target audiences
  • Leverage Marketing Coordinator to ensure campaign logistics are nailed down, sponsors/partners are doing their part, the right materials are printed/delivered, and more.
  • Develop event strategy with the Director of Marketing
  • Manage and prepare for events, along with event reporting and ROI analysis

About You:

You’re a data-driven marketer who understands how to turn strategy into pipeline. You enjoy testing messaging, optimizing conversion paths, and tinkering in HubSpot workflows. You’re also someone who loves the mechanics of marketing ops and knows that infrastructure, including AI, is what enables real scale.

  • You have 5+ years in demand generation roles or marketing roles, preferably in a B2B or agency setting.
  • You’ve owned paid campaigns, marketing automation, and pipeline reporting.
  • You’re an expert in HubSpot and love building a clean, effective martech stack.
  • You’re fluent in AI-enabled GTM tools (Clay, ChatGPT/Claude, Zapier/Make, etc.) and use them to build smarter workflows, not just faster ones.
  • You’re passionate about driving results and know how to work cross-functionally with sales, partnerships, and delivery.
  • You enjoy customer marketing initiatives and understand how to engage across the lifecycle.

Salary Range: $90-110k/yr. We recognize that candidates bring a variety of backgrounds and skills, and we’re committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation aligned with each individual’s expertise.
