The Design Manager will lead brand design initiatives, create digital assets, manage projects, and collaborate with teams to enhance Cloudinary's visual identity.
We’re looking for a Design Manager to join our Marketing Brand Creative team. In this role, you will support the evolution and consistency of Cloudinary’s brand experience across campaigns, digital experiences, and marketing initiatives while contributing to impactful work in brand design, web and landing page design, advertising creative, and scalable visual systems.
You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive outcomes that accelerate Cloudinary’s growth and customer experience. This role is ideal for a highly skilled designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balances multiple priorities effectively, and brings strong craft, adaptability, and systems thinking to their work.
Location: West Coast or PST working hours preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute brand and campaign design initiatives that strengthen Cloudinary’s visual identity and support business growth.
- Design high-quality creative assets across digital channels, including landing pages, web experiences, advertising campaigns, eBooks, and marketing collateral.
- Partner with marketing, brand, and cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and impactful creative experiences.
- Build, evolve, and maintain scalable design approaches and contribute to brand consistency across projects and campaigns.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while balancing timelines, priorities, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Apply strong visual design principles and user-centered thinking to improve engagement and campaign performance.
- Present design concepts, communicate creative rationale clearly, and incorporate feedback collaboratively.
- Contribute to a culture of inclusivity, operational excellence, continuous learning, and creative collaboration.
About You:
- Strong experience in brand design and applying visual storytelling across digital marketing and campaign experiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including a deep understanding of workflows, collaboration practices, and scalable design execution.
- Experience designing landing pages, web pages, advertising creatives, and multi-channel marketing assets.
- Familiarity with foundational print and collateral design principles and the ability to apply them when needed.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality output.
- Comfortable learning new technologies, tools, and evolving creative processes.
- 5+ years of experience in brand, marketing, or visual design roles, or equivalent experience gained through a variety of learning pathways.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing Design, or equivalent practical experience.
