Job Description

Digital Transformation Director

The Digital Transformation Director is a senior leader who drives and executes the North America and enterprise Health Systems vision for large-scale digital transformation, owning strategy execution, governance, investment prioritization, and value realization across data, AI, platforms, service delivery, customer experience, and operating model modernization. As a member of the extended S&SD NA leadership team, they partner with NA and global business leaders to ensure digital initiatives enable business growth, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and improved customer outcomes.

Your role:

  • Lead and champion the enterprise digital transformation strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligning investments, sequencing, and value-realization targets with corporate strategy and healthcare market dynamics.

  • Own executive governance and portfolio management, chairing decision forums, enforcing KPIs and benefits tracking, and serving as the primary escalation point to ensure timely issue resolution and measurable business outcomes.

  • Drive large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs (service delivery, clinical, BU/product, IT, data, commercial, finance), breaking down silos and aligning leaders around shared outcomes and delivery commitments.

  • Set direction for data, analytics, and responsible AI across a regulated healthcare environment, ensuring solutions prioritize safety, trust, compliance, and human-in-the-loop governance while promoting data-driven decision making.

  • Lead organizational change and capability building—shaping culture, talent strategies, and adoption plans—and manage external partnerships and industry engagement to sustain transformation and inform strategic direction.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Information Technology, Health Science, Engineering or equivalent.

  • 8+ years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 6 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Service Delivery or equivalent.

  • Deep knowledge of healthcare ecosystems, regulatory requirements, data privacy, and cybersecurity to guide compliant, secure digital initiatives.

  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders, drive alignment across complex matrixed organizations, and collaborate cross-functionally and with business units to execute digital transformation.

  • Strategic, transformative thinker with strong senior-level communication, decisive, outcomes-oriented decision making, high emotional intelligence, change leadership capability, and a customer-centric, value-driven mindset.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a field based role.

Philips Transparency Details  

The pay range for this position in AL, AZ, AR, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MS, MO, MN, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, or WY is $150,750 to $241,200.

The pay range for this position in AK, DE, HI, MD, MN, and RI is $159,000 to $253,000.

The pay range for this position in CA, CT, DC, MA, NJ, NY, or WA is $169,000 to $270,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.     

  

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here.   

  

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
