A Day in the LifeMedtronic is seeking a Digital Transformation Program Manager to join the Strategy & Transformation Team within the Enterprise Risk & Facilities organization. This team operates at the intersection of business strategy, operations, and enterprise transformation, serving as catalysts for Medtronic’s continued evolution in a dynamic environment.
In this high-impact role, you will define the art of the possible for technology-enabled experiences and turn vision into reality. You will lead global strategic initiatives that reimagine how we leverage technology to deliver best-in-class end-user and patient experiences across our facilities. From shaping the roadmap to executing complex projects, you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to drive measurable business outcomes.

This role will require X% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.
  • Define what the technology-enabled future looks like for Medtronic – outline a global, comprehensive technology transformation vision aligned with enterprise goals

  • Identify opportunities to enhance end-user experience through digital innovation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and process optimization

  • Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions and guide cross-functional teams through execution

  • Lead end-to-end program delivery of technology and digital transformation initiatives

  • Leverage advanced analytics, automation, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate, Snowflake) to extract insights and inform decisions

  • Develop compelling executive-level presentations and storytelling that communicate strategic insights and recommendations

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree AND a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience

  • Proven experience leading large-scale, global technology transformation initiatives

  • Experience leveraging AI to drive problem-solving, decision-making, and genuine efficiency gains

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on expertise working with large, complex data sets and proficiency in analytics and automation platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Power Automate, Snowflake, or similar)

Nice to Have

  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with a proven ability to present analytics and strategy to executive audiences

  • Mindset of continuous process improvement, innovation, and willingness to challenge the status quo

  • Self-starter who excels at managing multiple priorities and driving projects to completion in a fast-paced environment

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$133,600.00 - $200,400.00


This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

 

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

 

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
