The Director, Agile Transformation is accountable for the design, execution, and sustainability of Vizient’s enterprise Agile delivery capability for our Engineering organization. This role is responsible for accelerating and scaling Agile strategy, operating model standards, and coaching effectiveness across multiple domains while helping lead engineering teams indirectly.  This role may have direct reports that consist of Agile professionals. The Director partners with senior technology and product leaders to drive measurable improvements in delivery outcomes, organizational effectiveness, and value realization.  This role is focused on driving behavior change, utilization of the right tools, creation of consistent metrics, and improved execution of Agile philosophy.

Role Responsibilities:

• Own the Agile transformation strategy and roadmap aligned to business objectives.

• Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing Agile coaching team.

• Establish Agile standards and governance across domains.

• Define and track business and delivery outcome metrics.

• Partner with senior leaders to influence funding, priorities, and delivery models.

• Lead enterprise organizational change efforts.

• Identify systemic risks and drive continuous improvement.

  • 12+ years in Agile or product-based delivery environments.
  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Experience with TDD, Shift Left, and Test Automation Tooling
  • Experience with CI\CD tooling
  • Experience with implementing DevOps model
  • 9+ years leading Agile transformations.
  • 5+ years of formal people leadership.
  • Enterprise Agile leadership
  • Organizational change management
  • Executive communication
  • Data-driven decision making, and strong business acumen
  • Familiarity with hybrid and distributed team models

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.
