Job Summary

The Dir Operations Strategy to the SVP of Central Operations is a strategic execution leader and trusted advisor who drives alignment, operating discipline, and delivery of enterprise priorities. This role connects strategy to execution, ensuring clarity, accountability, and measurable results across complex, cross functional initiatives.
Partnering closely with the SVP and Operations leadership, the Dir Operations Strategy manages the operating cadence, advances critical initiatives, and enables data driven decision making. The role requires strong business acumen, operational depth, and the ability to influence without authority while balancing strategic thinking with hands on execution.

Job Description

Translates the Operations strategy into clear priorities, roadmaps, and execution plans, while tracking progress, identifying risks, and driving corrective actions to ensure results are achieved.

Manages weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating reviews and prepares for and facilitates leadership meetings, business reviews, and executive forums, ensuring consistent use of KPIs, dashboards, and performance reviews.

Coordinates across Operations and enterprise partners to align priorities and decisions, proactively resolving misalignment and removing execution barriers.

Delivers executive-level reporting and insights on performance, initiatives, and risks, supporting decision-making through data-driven analysis, scenarios, and recommendations.

Develops executive communications and presentations and supports change initiatives through clear messaging and stakeholder alignment.

Leads high-priority initiatives on behalf of the SVP and represents the SVP in meetings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • 10 years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting, or program leadership.

  • Proven success leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and executive‑level presentation skills.

  • High judgment, discretion, and professionalism.

  • Travel: Up to 15%

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$177,000.00 - $266,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
