Senior Vice President / Marketing Director


Reports to: EVP / Chief Deposit Officer

Status: Full Time, Exempt



Position Summary


The Marketing Director is responsible for executing comprehensive, integrated strategies that profitably acquire, retain, and expand relationships across all lines of business and across all channels.  This individual understands the complex digital landscape, delivers holistic solutions, and combines expertise in technology, marketing, and sales to deliver a superior client experience.


What You’ll Do

 

As Marketing Director, you will lead the following Marketing initiatives to include (but not limited to):

 

  • Oversee development and implementation of all digital banking and marketing programs.
  • Conceptualize and lead all demand generation efforts to drive deposit and loan growth across all lines of business while monitoring the sales funnel and optimizing all stages of it to achieve the bank’s goals and objectives.
  • Monitor brand strategy initiatives to ensure consistent messaging, visual identity, and customer experience across all marketing campaigns.
  • Manage brand standards to ensure consistency across digital print, advertising, social media, and branch communications.
  • Communicate across a broad and varied spectrum of audiences and aligns all initiatives to desired growth and sales outcomes.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies that strengthen the bank’s identity, build brand equity, and optimize its position in the market.
  • Establish a clear set of KPIs and builds alignment and rigor around the measurement and evaluation of the effectiveness of initiatives with the goal of continuous improvement, while socializing a “test and learn” philosophy.
  • Perform market research and serves in a cross-functional capacity to identify and present product management opportunities.
  • Partner with internal business units to determine needs and translates those needs into actionable strategies and focused solutions.
  • Direct activities of Marketing colleagues while coaching and developing them.
  • Manage third-party relationships as necessary.
  • Maintain an understanding of current and emerging trends in marketing.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable bank policies, laws, and regulations.

 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct reports include Marketing colleagues
  • Manage appropriate third-parties, vendors, and partners

Who You Are


  • Demonstrated knowledge of client acquisition, retention, and growth strategies within the banking industry across all lines of business.
  • Deep hands-on understanding of the sales funnel and optimizing it accordingly.
  • High level of comfort supporting, collaborating, and presenting to executive leadership and demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across an organization.
  • High levels of proficiency with digital banking platforms and marketing technology stacks.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities while remaining motivated and focused on the end game.
  • Capacity to think through both the big picture and the tactics necessary to achieve desired outcome(s).
  • Ability to coach/mentor colleagues to instill a culture of collaboration, mutual respect, and accountability.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation and managerial skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • A competitive salary range is estimated at $150,000 - $200,000 per year for this position. Final compensation will vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
