Director, Product Management – Data Exchange & Interoperability
Do you have a passion for building great products that deliver measurable value? Do you get excited to drive down the cost of care by building the future of healthcare data exchange? Are you energized by the challenge of translating complex interoperability standards into elegant, market-ready products? Do you thrive at the intersection of technology strategy, regulatory compliance, and customer value? If the answer to all of the above is YES, we may have the perfect role for you.
Position Summary:
The Director, Product Management – Data Exchange & Interoperability is responsible for the strategy, design, and execution of MacroHealth's data exchange solutions, known as Connect.
This leader will own the vision and roadmap for Connect – MacroHealth's suite of interoperability and data exchange capabilities that enable seamless, standards-based connectivity between health plans, health market partners (HMPs), providers, and other ecosystem participants.
The Director will define and drive the product strategy for Connect, ensuring it aligns with MacroHealth's broader platform direction while meeting the evolving interoperability mandates, data exchange standards, and market expectations that define the modern healthcare data landscape. This includes leading the design of an industry leading marketplace including APIs, EDI and claims data exchange pipelines, partner connectivity frameworks, and data governance capabilities that support MacroHealth's customers and HMP network.
This role requires a highly hands-on product leader who brings deep knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, X12/EDI, USCDI), a sharp understanding of the regulatory environment (CMS Interoperability Rules, ONC HTI-1, HIPAA), and the commercial instincts to translate technical capability into differentiated market value. The Director will actively leverage modern AI-powered tools to accelerate discovery, decision-making, and delivery across the product lifecycle.
This role will collaborate closely with Executive Leadership, Engineering, Market Development, Platform Product Management, Marketing, and Sales – and will serve as MacroHealth's internal and external thought leader on healthcare data exchange and connectivity strategy. The Director will report directly to the Vice President, Product Management.
