About Aeris Communications Inc.

For more than three decades, Aeris has been a trusted cellular IoT leader enabling the biggest IoT programs and opportunities across Automotive, Utilities and Energy, Fleet Management and Logistics, Medical Devices, and Manufacturing. Our IoT technology expertise serves a global ecosystem of 7,000 enterprise customers and 30 mobile network operator partners, and 100 million IoT devices across the world. Aeris powers today’s connected smart world with innovative technologies and borderless connectivity that simplify management, enhance security, optimize performance, and drive growth.

At this stage in our growth having recently surpassed 100 million connected devices and welcomed a strategic investment from TA Associates Aeris is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and high-impact product marketing leader to accelerate the expansion of our Automotive Business Unit (ABU).

In this role, you'll develop and execute short- and long-term go-to-market plans to drive revenue growth in the automotive space. You will own all elements of our automotive marketing strategy — sales enablement, AR/PR, demand generation, and partner marketing — with a relentless focus on developing compelling messaging, positioning, and full-funnel enablement materials.

The ideal candidate is a credible automotive industry insider, a world-class storyteller, a creative visual thinker, and a change agent who raises the bar for everyone around them. You can operate independently, speak with authority as a spokesperson for the ABU, and bring both strategic vision and hands-on execution to a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

Customer & Market Intelligence
  • Develop an encyclopedic knowledge of end customers, key influencers, and the broader automotive ecosystem to build a deep, fact-based, and data-driven understanding of how Aeris' automotive offerings uniquely position customers to win.
  • Translate that knowledge into clear insights and digestible materials that inform outbound marketing, sales enablement, and product direction.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the automotive software landscape — its history, evolution, and future state — to credibly inform strategy and messaging.
Sales, Marketing & Channel Enablement
  • Produce crisp, clear, scalable, and compelling materials for business development and partner sales teams to support full-funnel marketing and sales activity — including buyer personas, customer stories, pitch decks, website updates, videos, and more.
  • Develop a full product marketing playbook, including a source book, collateral library, and presentation suite that enables teams to engage customers with consistency and impact.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of why customers buy and how to tune messages for greatest impact across audiences and channels.
  • Create visually appealing, intuitive sales enablement assets that reflect a strong design sensibility and accelerate customer understanding.
Joint Go-to-Market Strategy Development
  • Identify, investigate, and validate potential GTM partnerships, working cross-functionally with product, business development, sales, and marketing to develop and execute effective partner marketing strategies.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of operational details and project management processes; willing to get hands dirty to drive results.
Demand Generation
  • Own the development and execution of demand generation campaigns — spanning digital marketing to high-profile events and conferences, including flagship events such as CES.
  • Bring experience in marketing technology stacks and a strong understanding of sponsorship strategy and large-format event presence.
AR/PR & Thought Leadership
  • Develop an integrated AR/PR strategy that drives strong alignment with key analysts and influencers, establishing Aeris as a recognized thought leader in the connected and automotive technology market.
  • Serve as a credible, fast-thinking product spokesperson — internally and externally — able to articulate the Aeris vision, demo our offerings, and represent the ABU with executive presence and authority.
  • Capable of debating a competing vendor with confidence and credibility.
AI-Powered Marketing Innovation
  • Leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance product marketing effectiveness — from content creation and customer insights to campaign optimization and sales enablement.
  • Champion the use of AI across the marketing function, pushing the envelope on how emerging technologies can accelerate outcomes and drive innovation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
  • Act as a high-energy change agent who raises the level of the entire team — motivating, aligning, and collaborating across product management, engineering, sales, sales engineering, and marketing.
  • Serve as a strong and credible input into future product direction, even though product strategy ownership sits elsewhere.
  • Operate with strong executive presence and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Separate signal from noise — distill complex concepts into compelling, clear narratives that resonate across audiences.
Basic Requirements
  • 10+ years of directly relevant B2B SaaS or PaaS product marketing experience, with a strong understanding of enterprise technology sales cycles.
  • Significant knowledge and credibility within the automotive software space, including a firm grasp of the key influencers, ecosystem players, and market dynamics.
  • Resourceful, startup-savvy operator who knows how to start from scratch, iterate continuously, and thrive in complex environments without a set playbook. Startup experience is a must.
  • World-class writer and storyteller capable of diving deep into product details and customer needs — crafting killer messaging at both the 30,000-foot level and the feature level.
  • Visual thinker with an eye for compelling, intuitive graphics that anchor and accelerate customer understanding.
  • Strong cross-functional project manager with a track record of engaging product, marketing, sales, business development, and customer success to achieve alignment and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing partner marketing programs with operational rigor and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with AI tools and technologies, with a strong desire to leverage artificial intelligence to drive marketing innovation and optimize performance.
  • Experience in the marketing technology stack, including demand generation platforms, CRM, analytics, and event/sponsorship management.
  • Prior experience in IoT, mobility, cloud, analytics, or a related field is strongly desired.
