Company Overview:

MP1 is leading the Compliance Services Organization (CSO) space. MP1 was built to give healthcare practices a single, accountable partner for their compliance needs. Practices increasingly sought help across multiple regulated requirements, but they didn’t want more vendors, they wanted one unified solution.

MP1 delivers exactly that through an affordable compliance program supported by a client portal and application for ease of use and managing compliance needs to leverage a one vendor ecosystem and one point of accountability.

The Director of Sales plays a critical role in advancing this mission by leading a multi‑motion sales organization that strengthens compliance‑aligned customer engagement, drives retention and expansion, and deepens MP1’s impact across 30,000 healthcare customers.

Role Overview:

As a compliance‑services organization operating across regulated product lines, MP1’s sales team must balance growth with strict adherence to compliance standards. The Director of Sales will modernize the commercial engine, unify inbound, outbound, and account management motions, and elevate the performance and culture of a distributed sales organization across the US and the Philippines.

Key priorities include:

  • Outbound sales development
  • Structured account management
  • Customer expansion into new product offerings
  • Talent upgrading
  • AI‑enabled sales tools
  • Multi‑site, multi‑team coordination

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build & Lead a Modern, Multi‑Motion Sales Organization

Oversee and scale:

  • US Inbound SDR Team (10)
  • US Account Management Team (10)
  • Offshore SDR/LDR Teams (Philippines)
  • Future US‑based outbound hunters
  • Team growth from 25 → 40

Create unified processes, consistent operating rhythms, and compliance‑aligned engagement across all motions.

2. Transform the Culture

Shift a historically inbound‑focused team toward:

  • Proactive outbound engagement
  • Hunting, upselling, and customer expansion
  • Strong account management discipline
  • Talent assessment and upgrading

3. Build the Outbound Engine

Design, launch, and optimize:

  • New outbound SDR function
  • US‑based hunting team
  • AI‑enabled tools layered on Salesforce
  • Structured sales operating systems

4. Lead Account Management at Scale

With 30,000 customers and 10 account managers, build:

  • Scalable account management processes
  • Retention, upsell, and cross‑sell motions
  • Compliance‑aligned customer‑touch frameworks
  • Incentives and playbooks
  • Daily support for escalations and problem‑solving

5. Hire, Attract, and Develop Top Sales Talent

MP1 needs a leader who can:

  • Attract strong salespeople
  • Hire hunters and help them earn
  • Recruit, assess, coach, and build bench strength
  • Create a high‑performance environment
  • Sell directly into accounts when needed
  • Lead a growing SDR/LDR organization across US + offshore

Healthcare, med‑device, or regulated‑industry hiring experience is a major plus.

6. Partner Directly with Executives

Work closely with:

  • CEO
  • COO
  • Executive leadership
  • Product & Operations
  • AI/Technology teams

Influence strategy, present data, and drive cross‑functional alignment.

7. Support Growth Through M&A and Operating IP

Standardize, replicate, and scale MP1’s sales operating system across new business units and acquisitions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience building and leading sales teams across multiple motions — inbound, outbound, account management, and hunting
  • A demonstrated track record of building a net-new sales team and driving upsell/expansion growth, rather than primarily maintaining an existing book of business
  • Significant experience in sales leadership, with a strong ability to hire, develop, and retain high-performing sales talent, including hunters
  • Experience leading distributed teams across multiple sites, including offshore markets
  • A track record of leading sales transformation and culture change — shifting a historically inbound-focused team toward proactive outbound engagement
  • Strong executive partnership skills, with the ability to influence strategy and collaborate cross-functionally at the leadership level
  • Experience implementing AI-enabled sales tools and modern sales operating systems (e.g., tools layered on Salesforce)
  • A strong track record of upselling, cross-selling, and driving customer expansion at scale
  • High compliance awareness and comfort operating within a regulated environment

Nice-To-Have:

  • Background selling into healthcare or med-device customers
  • Experience hiring and building teams within healthcare, med-device, or other regulated industries

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary of $155K–$185K, commensurate with experience.
  • Total Compensation at Plan (OTE): of $230K–$280K, including uncapped commission above plan
  • Meaningful Impact: Join a mission-driven company helping healthcare providers strengthen compliance so they can focus on patient care
  • Ownership & Growth: Help shape the future of our sales organization and AI-enabled tools in an entrepreneurial, fast-growing environment
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family
  • Work-Life Balance: Generous PTO, paid holidays, and a collaborative, high-energy culture
