Collectors is the leading creator of innovative technology that provides value-added services for collectors worldwide. We grade, authenticate, vault, and sell millions of record-setting collectibles, all while modernizing and digitalizing the process to further our mission of helping collectors pursue their passions. We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join our growing team.

Our services span collectible trading cards, autographs, comic books, coins, video games, event tickets, and memorabilia. Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, Beckett, SGC, and Card Ladder.

Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 3000 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana, California and offices in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Japan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Canada, Mexico, Germany, the UK, and France.

As part of our interview process, we request that candidates have their cameras on during video interviews. This helps foster meaningful conversation and allows us to create an experience that closely resembles our standard working environment. Certain interview steps may take place by phone. For remote roles, and at our discretion, candidates may be asked to participate in an on-site interview as part of the final stages of the process.

We understand there may be occasional circumstances requiring accommodation and are happy to discuss them as needed. Your recruiter will be able to clarify expectations and answer any questions you have.

We’re looking for a Supplier Relations & Performance Management Director who will own the Supplier Relations base. This role leads the function that selects, qualifies, contracts, measures, and develops Collectors' suppliers globally.

You will define the segmentation model, execute the scorecards and business reviews, negotiate the agreements that matter, and hold suppliers accountable to them. You will also partner closely with Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, and Quality, and will be the executive-facing voice on supplier risk, cost, and performance.

You’ll report to the Director, Global Supply Chain and work either from our Santa Ana, CA or Jersey City, NJ office (preferably Santa Ana). Remote or hybrid candidates will also be considered. We believe that there is significant value in in-person collaboration. If you live within a 1 hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be required to be onsite most of the time. This will be discussed further as part of the recruiting process.

Up to 30% travel is required (including international travel), along with a current and valid passport.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead complex, high-value negotiations: pricing, service levels, capacity guarantees, indexation, liability, and termination terms

  • Run competitive sourcing events with disciplined evaluation criteria and documented award rationale

  • Partner with Legal to standardize contract templates, MSAs, SOWs, and quality agreements, and to reduce cycle time from award to signature

  • Deliver measurable year-over-year savings and cost-avoidance, with results validated by Finance

  • Own the global supplier base across direct and indirect categories

  • Build and maintain a supplier segmentation model (strategic, preferred, transactional, exit) and drive rationalization decisions against it

  • Execute category strategies and multi-year sourcing roadmaps aligned to Collectors' capacity expansion plan and new-site launches

  • Lead make-versus-buy and dual-source analysis for business-critical inputs, with explicit contingency plans for single-source exposure

  • Design and operate the supplier performance management program: scorecards, KPIs, tiered review cadence, and escalation paths

  • Establish the metric set that matters — on-time-in-full delivery, quality and defect rates, responsiveness, cost variance, capacity commitment adherence, and total cost of ownership

  • Chair quarterly and annual business reviews with strategic suppliers, including executive-level participation on both sides

  • Own corrective action processes end to end: root cause analysis, supplier improvement plans, measurable exit criteria, and disqualification when performance does not recover

  • Publish a supplier performance dashboard to supply chain and operations leadership on a fixed cadence, with clear narrative on risk and trend

  • Own supplier onboarding and qualification

  • Maintain continuity plans for critical suppliers and lead supply disruption response when it occurs

  • Act as the senior supply-base partner to Operations, Facilities, Quality, Product, Finance, and Legal leadership

  • Represent supplier performance and risk in executive forums, including budget and capacity planning cycles

  • Own the supplier master data standard and drive accuracy and completeness across ERP and procurement systems

  • Select and implement supplier management, sourcing, and contract lifecycle tooling as the function matures

  • Standardize processes and documentation so supplier management is repeatable across sites and regions rather than dependent on individuals

Who You Are:

Required

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or supply chain, including 5+ years leading teams and managing managers

  • Demonstrated ownership of a supplier performance management program you designed or substantially rebuilt; not just participated in

  • Track record negotiating and managing complex, high-value supplier agreements with documented savings and service-level outcomes

  • Experience managing international suppliers and multi-region supply bases, including the practical realities of time zones, currency, and cross-border logistics

  • Strong command of supply chain analytics: you can build the model, defend the numbers, and translate them into an executive recommendation

  • Experience in a high-growth environment where the process did not yet exist and you built it

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with credibility in front of both a supplier's CEO and a warehouse floor

Preferred:

  • MBA or master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations

  • CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, or Six Sigma certification

  • Experience supporting high-volume, high-SKU-variability operations:  aerospace, automotive, collectibles, or consumer products

  • Background supporting new facility launches, including qualifying local supply bases in new geographies

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $173,000-$208,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details.

Reasons To Join Us:

  • Health Insurance: All full-time employees are eligible to enroll in Medical, Dental, and Vision

  • Additional Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for fertility, commuter, and educational assistance benefits

  • 401(K) Matching Plan: We are proud to offer a competitive 401k matching plan to our employees to support their future financial goals

  • Vacation: All salaried employees are eligible for flexible time-off

  • Holiday Pay: All regular, full-time employees are eligible for ten company paid holidays

  • Employee Discounts: Employees receive discounts on select grading services for approved submissions

  • Flexible Hours: Many of our teams offer flexible schedules with varying shifts and will work with you to accommodate your needs

  • Fun Working Environment: Our team members are invited to participate in celebrations, holiday events, and team building activities

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
