Distinguished Engineer

As a Distinguished Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving our tech strategy and enabling the delivery of critical solutions across domains. You will be a deep technical expert and thought leader, helping to accelerate the adoption of the very best engineering practices while keeping up-to-date with industry innovations, trends, and practices. You will collaborate on our toughest challenges to deliver business solutions that directly impact our customers' success.
In this role, you will be a visionary, role model, mentor, and evangelist. You will help coach and strengthen the technical expertise of our engineering and product community, while establishing yourself as a go-to resource on given technologies and technology-enabled capabilities. You will have an excellent understanding of design patterns and architectural styles, strong soft skills, and experience designing and setting up new development tools and infrastructures.
Your responsibilities will include building awareness, increasing knowledge, and driving the adoption of modern technologies. You will strike the right balance between lending expertise and providing an inclusive environment where others' ideas can be heard and championed. You will promote a culture of engineering excellence and effectively communicate with and influence key stakeholders across the enterprise at all levels of the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· At least 7 years of experience in software engineering utilizing languages such as C#, Golang, Python, and/or Java

· At least 3 years of experience driving solution architecture

· At least 3 years of experience with public cloud technologies, preferably AWS.

· Industry experience in required.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Masters’ Degree

· 10+ years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture

· 7+ years of experience designing and building enterprise platform solutions.

· 5+ years of experience with Agile software development

· 4+ years of experience with AWS

· 3+ years of experience defining software design, architecture, and engineering practices.

· AWS Certifications

Compensation

Compensation Range: $148,600.00 - $183,450.00 - $218,300.00This role is eligible for a bonus that is based on a combination of personal and business performance.
