CRM Data Analyst & Migration Specialist

We have an opportunity for a skilled data migration professional to join a dynamic team that is building out HUB’s next generation wealth and retirement platform. We seek an experienced professional who can quickly establish relationships with, and elicit requirements from, busy stakeholders; and who also has the hands-on technical skills to build and execute data migration solutions. This person will execute multiple migrations from various platforms into Microsoft Dynamics 365. The successful candidate will take the lead in evaluating the current state of data in the source systems and drive a successful end-to-end migration. This involves understanding the data structure in both source and target systems, extracting the necessary information, transferring the data accurately, mapping it appropriately and ensuring all elements are included. The Migration Specialist should have experience with data migration tools and be proficient in Dynamics 365. In our fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, creative problem-solving skills and superb communication are a must. Attention to detail is crucial. The right candidate will be a natural collaborator and demonstrate the ability to work and think independently.

The Migration Specialist will work closely with the project team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions when it comes to data migration.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business subject matter experts to derive data extraction and mapping requirements from overall business requirements;
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance for the data migration process to Dynamics CRM 365;
  • Ensure that extracts are thorough and accurate; develop process to clean up data inconsistencies in preparation for load into target system;
  • Assist with testing, deployment and support activities;
  • Develop playbook that standardizes the data migration approach for 70+ source systems;
  • Become subject matter expert of custom data mapper tool currently built in Microsoft Dynamics CRM DEV environment for documenting the field mappings and tracking the status of the data migration / integration effort. 
  • Build SQL Scripts, views and stored procedures. Use SQL scripts to combine the source data into views to merge tables together then using stored procedures to move the data into the staging tables; and
  • Collaborate with various teams at HUB to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • 8+ years of experience; including at least 2 years in client or stakeholder direct-facing role
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365;
  • Experience with data mapper tools;
  • Ability to build SQL scripts;
  • Knowledge of SSMS;
  • Experience with Azure SQL;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications, Not Required:

  • Consulting experience with client relationship management responsibilities
  • Large enterprise transformational project experience
  • Experience with wealth management CRM platforms i.e. Red Tail, Salesforce, etc.;
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (including Power Automate);
  • Experience with Kingswaysoft; and/or
  • Experience with Visual Studio.

Travel

  • Will require travel to various offices at HUB International located throughout the U.S. as needed during the project term to work with the local teams and their data.
