The Cary Company is seeking a creative, detail‑oriented E‑Commerce Copywriter to write persuasive, search‑optimized content that drives traffic and conversion across our digital channels. This role focuses on product and category pages, email campaigns, landing pages, and SEO content while working closely with Marketing and Creative to strengthen brand voice and site performance.

Compensation: $41,500–$50,000 annually plus benefits and incentives
Location: On‑site. Addison, IL headquarters.


What You’ll Do:
  • Write conversion‑focused copy for product pages, category pages, emails, landing pages, and promotions
  • Create and update blogs, guides, FAQs, and resource content to support SEO and customer education
  • Optimize content for SEO including keyword usage, metadata, headings, internal linking, and accessibility best practices
  • Review and improve existing copy for clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Creative on campaigns across email, social, and web
  • Support A/B testing and use basic analytics to improve engagement and conversion
  • Help maintain and evolve brand voice and content standards
What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Working knowledge of SEO and basic analytics a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a positive, team-oriented approach
