Job Description

PA's Growth Strategy team helps organizations identify opportunities for sustainable growth through customer insight, market analysis, and strategic thinking. As an Analyst in our Early Career Program, you will work alongside experienced practitioners to solve complex business challenges and help clients make confident strategic decisions.  
  
Our Early Career Analyst Program is designed for individuals beginning their professional journey in consulting as either a recent college grad or by re-entering the workforce following continued education and development. We welcome students graduating in Fall/Winter 2026 or Spring 2027, as well as individuals who have developed relevant capabilities through apprenticeships, workforce development programs, military service, community leadership, or other non-traditional pathways. 

Through mentorship, hands-on project work, formal development opportunities, and client engagements, you will build the skills needed for a successful consulting career.  

As a Growth Strategy Analyst at PA, you will: 

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support client recommendations.  

  • Analyze customer, market, financial, and business data to uncover growth opportunities.  

  • Support the development of strategic recommendations and business cases through evidence-based hypotheses.  

  • Participate in interviews, workshops, and collaborative problem-solving sessions to create clear, compelling presentations and deliverables for internal and client audiences.  

  • Contribute curiosity, creativity, and analytical rigor to project teams. 

  • Be welcomed to build office and company culture through the involvement in employee resource groups and firm initiatives. 

Qualifications

We're looking for individuals who are curious, collaborative, and motivated to solve complex challenges. Successful candidates will typically demonstrate:  

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. You’re able to simplify complex problems and ideas through structured analysis and clear thinking. 

  • Comfort with conducting quantitative and qualitative research.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, disciplines, and seniority-levels.  

  • Initiative, adaptability, and comfort working in dynamic environments.  

  • Commitment to inclusive teamwork and respect for diverse perspectives.  

Your background includes:  

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree expected by Fall/Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 or similar recent completion of non-traditional pathways. All academic backgrounds are welcome.   

  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.   

  • Experience with research, analytics, AI tools, coding, leadership activities, apprenticeships, work experience, or community involvement is a plus.   

Additional Information

Hybrid working - our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week. However, the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on a client site

In compliance with Colorado’s, New York’s, Illinois’, & Massachusetts' Equal Pay Transparency Act, PA is required to provide a reasonable salary range for this role.  This salary range is specific to Illinois and is commensurate with experience, market data, applicant skills, internal equity and/or degrees/certifications. 

Salary Range: $94,500 - $104,475
