Role Overview

As the Category Growth Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of a multi-million dollar product category, with a primary focus on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon. You will own the full lifecycle of the category, from product positioning to advertising and demand planning, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure growth and success. This role requires a balance of data-driven decision-making, innovative strategy, and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Ownership & Strategy: Own the end-to-end performance of the category, including revenue, margin, pricing, advertising, and inventory.
  • Optimization & Growth: Continuously optimize product positioning, content, pricing, and promotional strategy to drive growth and maximize market share.
  • Product Innovation & Expansion: Identify new product opportunities and manage the lifecycle of existing products to ensure continued relevance and profitability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product Operations, Supply Chain, and Design teams to ensure seamless execution and support product growth.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze performance data and implement improvements to optimize category performance and drive scalable results.

RequirementsWho You Are

You are a results-driven e-commerce leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of a product category. You’re passionate about driving growth, optimizing performance, and building strategies that scale. You have strong analytical skills and experience working within e-commerce ecosystems, particularly with platforms like Amazon.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, with a proven track record of scaling product categories and driving profitability.
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central or similar marketplace platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience making decisions based on performance data.
  • A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for driving innovation and applying new strategies to optimize performance.
