Team & Position Description:

We are currently seeking an Educational Sales Consultant to join our Central Regional Sales Team, covering the sales territory that includes Illinois and Wisconsin Metro areas. We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to build relationships with schools and districts, helping bring hands-on learning solutions to educators and students. Here’s what makes this team awesome: You will be trusted and empowered to bring your own experience and creativity to grow and develop this sales territory by building trusted partner relationships with your customers in your territory. You will be part of a region and companywide school division that is “all in” and “passionate” around building an elementary education company together with “like minded colleagues”, filling educational gaps for our educational partners in schools and making hands on learning fun

What you’ll do day to day (responsibilities):
  • Deploy solution selling skills to prospect new business, acquire new customers across all disciplines, effectively manage the assigned territory - making sales calls and closing sales.
  • Acquire and maintain trusted partner relationships in key accounts and identify/build new contacts in those accounts to grow revenue and acquire new customers in the assigned territory.
  • Team sell with Regional Full-Time Consultants, Per Diem Consultants, Marketing and Product Development colleagues as needed.
  • Execute a wide variety of sales awareness events to create h2m brand awareness and generate leads across the assigned sales territory.
  • Use the CRM platform to maintain and update territory contacts, record sales calls, opportunities and sales activity, and effectively manage a sales pipeline of business.
What we’re looking for (Key Performance Objectives):
  • Develop a comprehensive territory plan within six weeks, outlining key customers, quarterly objectives, and a detailed action plan for key accounts.
  • Implement innovative sales techniques to achieve or surpass the assigned annual quota, while consistently conducting sales discovery meetings with new decisionmakers in identified growth areas.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive pipeline of leads and opportunities across public and private school districts, focusing on math, literacy, and STEM solutions to achieve or exceed assigned quota by end of year.
  • Utilize SalesHub tools to track sales activities, analyze customer data, and provide insights to improve sales strategies and meet territory objectives daily.
Requirements/Ideal Attributes:
  • College Degree required
  • Elementary classroom teaching or administrative experience is very helpful.
  • Sales experience would be helpful – but willing to hire a teacher/administrator seeking a new experience.
  • An individual with a positive mental “can do” attitude and style.
  • A collaborative, self-starter with a “sales hunter” mindset.

We are a drug-free workplace and an EEO employer.

Please note: This role will be filled by our internal recruitment team, so no assistance is needed from any outside staffing agency at this time.

Salary Range: $85,000 to $103,000 plus commissions – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: years of experience, skill set and location. Total compensation includes profit sharing bonus potential, 401k matching, and a variety of other benefits (details can be found here).
