IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an Educational Sales Consultant to join our Carson Dellosa field sales team. Carson Dellosa Education, now a part of the IXL family of brands, was founded in 1977 by two teachers. Over forty years later, we remain committed to creating educational solutions for children, teachers, and parents—wherever they are needed. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help drive growth and introduce the value of Carson Dellosa products and solutions to schools and school districts throughout the midwest region. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker who understands the educational landscape and can create solutions based on customer needs. This is a full-time remote position for candidates located in the Midwest. #LI-REMOTE

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Drive sales by introducing Carson Dellosa and IXL supplemental educational resources to new and existing customers 
  • Partner closely with Carson Dellosa and IXL field sales managers and reps s to strategize, present, and execute supplemental resource sales in your region, building strong relationships with these teams
  • Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values to provide personalized, helpful advice throughout their buying process
  • Leverage market and product knowledge to identify new opportunities and significantly boost sales
  • Deliver engaging, impactful presentations to a wide variety of educators including administrators and teachers
  • Develop and demonstrate a strong understanding of all IXL products
  • Understand and stay current with ever-changing market trends 
  • Partner with sales reps throughout IXL to prospect specific district and state education departments 
  • Build and execute a clear, strategic  territory action plan to ensure success
  • Keep up to date records of all sales activity in the CRM
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • BA/BS degree 
  • 3+ years of educational sales experience
  • Prior experience selling supplemental educational resources
  • 5+ years of teaching and/or school administrative experience
  • Exceptional presentation skills, as well as one-on-one conversational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for bringing supplemental and family engagement solutions to educators
  • Aptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlines 
  • Demonstrated success at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finish
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel up to 85% of the time
  • Must live no more than 45 minutes from a major airport
