- Assist with routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments; document findings and communicate results to supervisor
- Support incident investigations by collecting data, documenting facts, in accordance with OSHA and CG Global EHS requirements
- Help maintain EHS records including training logs, SDS, permits, and compliance reports
- Participate in safety training material development and assist with new associate onboarding and recurring compliance training; ensure proper training documentation
- Assist with job hazard analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments; support risk level reduction planning
- Monitor basic compliance activities including PPE usage, housekeeping standards, and safety signage visibility throughout the facility
- Support environmental programs including waste management, recycling tracking, and hazardous materials handling
- Track corrective actions and follow up on completion status
- Assist in coordinating emergency response drills and training; assist with auditing condition and availability of emergency response equipment
- Support end-to-end workers' compensation claims process including incident documentation, rootcause analysis, recordkeeping, and return-to-work coordination
- Utilize MS Office and analytical skills to prepare EHS reports and metrics
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field
Experience:
1+ years of experience in a related position
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations on Health, Safety, and Environmental protection
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related applications
Preferred Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
Experience:
EHS experience in an approved Safe Industry program
Experience in a manufacturing environment or around manufacturing processes
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 awareness
Basic knowledge of SAP
Basic knowledge of work environment measurement equipment
