NOTE THIS IS A VOLUNTEER ROLE
We are looking for a creative and strategic Email Marketing Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing engaging and compelling content for our email newsletters, aimed at young mothers and our supporters. You will craft messages that inform, inspire, and build stronger relationships with our community, ensuring each communication aligns with our mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:Content Creation: Develop engaging and relevant content for monthly newsletters, including stories, updates, event promotions, and calls to action.
Audience Engagement: Tailor messaging to resonate with both young mothers and supporters, ensuring it speaks to their interests and needs.
Campaign Strategy: Plan and execute email campaigns that drive engagement, including event promotion, fundraising, and awareness efforts.
Email List Management: Maintain and segment the email list to ensure messages reach the right audiences, while complying with email marketing best practices.
Performance Analysis: Monitor email campaign performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and adjust strategies based on data insights.
Optimization: Continuously improve the effectiveness of email content and strategies through A/B testing, feedback, and keeping up with trends in email marketing.
Proven experience in email marketing or content creation (experience with platforms like Mailchimp is a plus).
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of email marketing best practices, including subject lines, calls to action, and layout design.
Ability to analyze email performance metrics and adjust campaigns accordingly.
Creative thinking with the ability to craft engaging, audience-specific content.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Passion for supporting young mothers and the mission of the organization.
Basic graphic design skills or experience with design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
Experience in social media marketing is a plus
