The Sr. Associate, Ops Innovation (EMR Analyst), you along with other high-performing Ops Innovation team members, will collaborate with others on initiatives and engagements critical to the success of our business. The Sr. Associate will partner with Regional Operations, Strategic Operations, Regional Training, and Implementation to understand and assess existing business processes, reports, and initiatives and suggest ways to improve them; describe current state as well identify limitations.
This role will support the optimization and integration into our workflows of various technological platforms and systems utilized by our team.
In addition, the Sr. Associate will be responsible for executing plans according to varying timelines, and work to optimize these processes by aligning innovation goals with the company’s broader business objectives. This position will support cultivation of a vision, culture, and processes and provide value-add support to our partners and Regional operations teams.
The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in operations and working collaboratively with others. Applicant should be analytically oriented, results driven, and be able to work as a member of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support specific engagements and implement changes in approaches, methods, services, and/or processes to enhance our organization’s competitiveness and improve efficiencies
- Collect information and source feedback from various members of the team to learn about current processes and where there is room for improvement
- Problem solve and collaborate with small, results-oriented team to effectively keep projects on track toward both short-term milestones and long-term strategic objectives
- Effectively partner with many different business units and collaborate well throughout the organization
- Leverage data and insights from multiple sources and platforms as well as dive deep
- Develop, monitor, and track performance towards specific engagement and defined KPIs
- Provide valuable guidance and training to teammates throughout engagement
- Conduct or support original qualitative and quantitative research
- Prepare a variety of presentation materials; proactively drive follow-ups from meetings and develop tangible outcomes and next steps to achieve defined targets across multiple KPIs
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong experience working with hospital EMRs and builds; EPIC experience desired
- CPhT certification or equivalent preferred
- Experience with Pharmacy Operating Systems preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to work with limited direct oversight
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other project management tools
- Strong interpersonal skills and interest in building client relationships
- Detail-oriented with experience in data analysis
- Collaborative, team player
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
