[What the role is]

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development of a future ready built environment for Singapore. Besides regulating building safety, we lead and transform the built environment sector in delivering a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment.
We are looking for resourceful, energetic and self-motivated individuals who are inspired to play an active role to make a difference to Singapore’s built environment.

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the team to champion and drive digital transformation effort for the built environment industry. You will be involved in:

  • Working with various stakeholders, which includes industry practitioners, technology providers and research institutions, to adopt latest digital technology and develop solutions to support the built environment; 

  • Managing pilot projects as well as assess and evaluate the implementation of the various new and emerging technologies; 

  • Supporting the formulation and implementation of industry-wide digital solutions to support regulatory functions;

  • Developing practice guides/standards to guide the preparation of submissions.

[What we are looking for]

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or construction-related discipline.

  • Good command of spoken and written English

  • Able to work independently as well as effectively as a team and possess eagerness to learn

  • At least 3 years of experience in an architectural, engineering and/or construction firms or a development of large project

  • Experience with change management, process improvement, or strategic planning

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing, presentation skills

  • Proactive with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to navigate complex organisational dynamics and work towards delivering tangible outcomes

  • Knowledge or experience in openBIM format and a keen interest in digital technology would be advantageous
