Responsibilities

The Enterprise Solution Delivery team is searching for an IT Business Analyst to join our team. The person fulfilling this position will have the opportunity to work with many different applications within Cardinal Health. They will be the go-to person for working with our team's stakeholders to understand, document, and help execute solutions that meet their needs while remaining in compliance with Cardinal Health policies and procedures. This role will work with many different functional areas of IT and apply that experience along with customer relationship management skills to provide our partners with best-in-class solutions and support that exceed their expectations.

What Business Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health

  • Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
  • Business Analysis serves as a liaison between the organization's businesses and IT systems development teams to align business strategies and capability needs and to ensure IT systems enable their desired value. This job family identifies and analyzes business needs, defines requirements and objectives, makes recommendations for solutions using new and existing technologies, and assists with the implementation process.
  • This job family researches and documents relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices) and translates business requirements into application requirements that are implemented into production systems.

Qualifications

Required

  • Proven experience as a hands-on IT Business Analyst
  • Prior experience working with IT project stakeholders obtaining end user requirements and building internal customer relationships.  
  • Experience with reporting dashboarding and project timeline management.
  • At least 5 years of experience

Preferred

  • Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
  • Experience developing policies and procedures.
  • Experience on IT centric complex projects of large scope
