In this role, you will join a team focused on the development and maintenance of various Client/Server, Mobile, and Web Applications supporting our clients in the Law Enforcement community.  The successful candidate will be a self-directed problem-solver with application development and testing experience.

Years experience (3+ years)

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in various phases of software development life cycle
• Design and develop tools to assist manual and exploratory testing
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Analyze and diagnose application errors and performance issues
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Collaborate with developers and product owners
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs

Required Skills

• Strong testing skills (i.e Unit, Functional, System Integration, and Regression Testing)
• Experience with test automation
• Knowledge and experience in Java, Angular, JSON, and XML technology
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing
• Experience with version control software (i.e. GIT)
• Willingness to travel throughout the United States as required
• College degree in a related field of study

Additional skills a plus

• Knowledge of JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, T/SQL
• Experience with mobile app development and testing for Android and IOS Platforms a plus
• Knowledge and experience in HTML5, JS, jQuery, CSS3, XHTML, AJAX, Tomcat and Java Servlets
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Node.js a plus)
