About the company
Our client is a cybersecurity company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own a brand-new sales territory and create pipeline from zero, selling a technology platform into large organizations. The work centers on lengthy, advisory-style deals and building trust with both senior decision makers and hands-on technical users, with support from pre-sales specialists and company leaders.
What you'll do
- Identify, research and approach large organizations in your territory to create pipeline without any inherited accounts.
- Lead advisory-style sales cycles that run for months, learning what each prospect needs and tailoring the conversation to those needs.
- Develop relationships with senior security leaders as well as the engineers and data science staff who use the product daily.
- Work with pre-sales technical specialists on demonstrations, and bring in senior leaders to help move strategic opportunities forward.
- Stay engaged with prospects over time, including those who initially choose another route, and return to them when alternatives fall short.

- Background in an early-stage company or newly forming market where you introduced a product to a region for the first time.
- Prior time at a young company in the security space with an AI focus.
