The Contribution You’ll bring to this Role:

The Enterprise Logistics Manager is responsible for the performance, cost, and effectiveness of Justrite Safety Group’s transportation network across all business units and locations. 

This role manages key logistics providers and partners with business-unit leaders to improve transportation performance, control costs, establish consistent practices, and resolve issues across a complex and decentralized network. The Manager brings visibility, structure, and accountability to the transportation function while enabling individual business units to manage their day-to-day operations effectively.

What You’ll Do at Justrite:

• Manage strategic relationships with 3PLs, brokers, carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers, including service levels, performance reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. 

• Establish and monitor key transportation performance measures, including freight spend, on-time delivery, claims, accessories, and provider performance. 

• Conduct regular business and shipment-level reviews to identify cost, service, and process issues and drive corrective action. 

• Partner with business units to improve transportation performance, establish appropriate operating practices, and address recurring issues. 

• Develop and maintain enterprise transportation policies, standards, reporting, and governance practices. 

• Negotiate transportation rates, contracts, service levels, and other commercial terms with logistics providers in partnership with procurement and business-unit leadership. 

• Identify and implement opportunities to reduce transportation costs through network optimization, consolidation, mode selection, provider performance, and improved operating practices. 

• Lead competitive transportation analysis and periodic RFP activity to evaluate provider performance, market competitiveness, and opportunities to improve the logistics operating model. 

• Support evaluation of transportation provider and network alternatives, including changes to 3PL relationships and direct carrier management where appropriate. 

• Serve as the enterprise escalation point for significant transportation cost, service, or provider issues. 

• Oversee international logistics provider performance and support business units with international and intercompany transportation requirements. 

• Maintain working knowledge of international shipping documentation, HTS classification, import/export processes, and related requirements. 

• Lead transportation-related projects, provider changes, and process improvements in coordination with business units and external providers. 

Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field preferred. 

• 7+ years of progressive transportation, logistics, supply chain, or 3PL experience. 

• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-site, or decentralized transportation environments. 

• Demonstrated ability to own strategic logistics-provider relationships, including establishing service expectations and KPIs, conducting business reviews, resolving escalations, negotiating commercial terms, managing performance and accountability, and driving continuous improvement 

• Demonstrated success in reducing freight costs, improving on-time delivery, negotiating transportation agreements, and improving provider performance. 

• Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 

• Working knowledge of international transportation, import/export documentation, HTS codes, and intercompany shipments. 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Strong communication and relationship-management skills, with the ability to influence across business units and external partners. 

• Comfortable operating in a decentralized and evolving environment and establishing structure without creating unnecessary complexity. 

• Strong Excel, reporting, transportation, and ERP systems experience. 

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $X120,000.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
