From site selection to data center construction and operations, Stream develops wholesale colocation capacity and build-to-suit facilities for hyperscale and enterprise users in major markets across the United States. Additionally, Stream sources and develops low-risk land sites for optimum data center development and provides energy procurement services with a focus on reducing market risk and providing low-cost renewable energy options. 

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly capable and versatile Enterprise Transformation Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives across Operations, Information Technology, Corporate Functions, and enterprise programs. This role is responsible for translating business priorities into executable project plans and driving delivery from initiation through implementation.

The Project Manager will lead projects that improve operational efficiency, scalability, business performance, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. This individual will partner with leaders, business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and external partners to align priorities, manage risks, facilitate decisions, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a strong general project manager who can bring structure to ambiguity, influence stakeholders without direct authority, manage competing priorities, and drive execution across a wide range of project types. Success in this role requires sound judgment, strong communication, disciplined project leadership, and the ability to navigate both operational and technical environments. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise, IT, operational, and business projects.
  • Develop and manage project charters, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risks, and governance documentation.
  • Establish project objectives, scope, success criteria, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct authority to drive accountability, remove obstacles, and maintain progress toward agreed outcomes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, aligned with strategic priorities, and with minimal disruption of operations.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Operations, IT, Finance, HR, Legal, Security, Procurement, and other business functions.
  • Lead project planning, working sessions, and governance reviews to confirm scope, decisions, risks, dependencies, and next steps.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, align expectations, communicate progress clearly, and escalate decisions or issues with recommended options.
  • Drive execution across cross-functional workstreams by clarifying ownership, managing dependencies, and ensuring milestones, deliverables, and decisions stay on track.

Change Management & Business Readiness

  • Partner with business stakeholders to prepare teams for operational, process, or system changes and support successful adoption of project outcomes.
  • Develop and execute communication, transition, and business readiness plans to support implementation and long-term sustainability.
  • Ensure projects are transitioned effectively to business owners, including documentation, training, and accountability for ongoing ownership.
  • Surface key decisions, tradeoffs, and unresolved issues early, and facilitate timely resolution with appropriate stakeholders.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Maintain project RAID logs and ensure timely escalation of critical concerns.
  • Coordinate resolution of cross-functional dependencies and resource constraints.
  • Anticipate potential impacts to schedule, budget, quality, or operational readiness.

Agile & Hybrid Delivery

  • Apply project delivery methodologies/approaches such as: Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies based on project needs.
  • Partner with Scrum Masters and technical teams to support Agile/hybrid delivery.
  • Facilitate planning sessions, assist with backlog refinement, and milestone reviews when appropriate.
  • Ensure alignment between Agile team execution and cross-functional needs and expectations. 

PMO Governance & Reporting

  • Adhere to PMO standards, methodologies, and stage-gate requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely project reporting, documentation, and status updates within approved project management and collaboration tools.
  • Provide concise, decision-oriented updates to leaders and governance forums, including project health, risks, dependencies, budget impacts, and escalation needs.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO tools, templates, governance practices, and delivery standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery consistency, governance effectiveness, and overall PMO maturity.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience managing projects across multiple business functions such as Operations, IT, Finance, HR, Security, Legal, or Corporate Services
  • Experience delivering operational improvement, business transformation, process improvement, or implementation projects
  • Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, dependency, and stakeholder management
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Travel up to 25% 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree 
  • PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification
  • Experience in data center, critical infrastructure, or other mission-critical environments
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, and external implementation partners
  • Experience supporting executive stakeholders, steering committees, or enterprise governance forums
  • Experience using enterprise project management, collaboration, and work tracking tools such as Planview AdaptiveWork, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, or similar platforms.

The pay range for this role is between $145,000 – $155,000 (base). Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related reasons. Stream Data Centers offers annual bonus, benefits, flexible time off (vacation), 401k and a variety of other perks and benefits.
