Candidate must be able to overcome issues and resolve problems. Being customer centric and a sales advocate to our sales teams is a must. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, develop your logistics skills and collaborate with very talented people across our organization. Additional responsibilities include educating our sales teams how to quote and win more Truckload opportunities. Job Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of logistics experience referred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Chicago, IL office. The role requires daily in-office attendance with no remote work options.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Responds timely to Sales and Customer requests for Truckload quotes 
  • Participate in Customer calls with Sales representatives to pursue freight 
  • Oversee in the execution of freight 
  • Ability to multi-task to quote, accurately build loads, and communicate shipment updates 
  • Help Sales close opportunities and problem solve 
  • Track and report on progress and productivity 
  • Drive spot portal freight bidding across various accounts 
  • Fill in with RFP pricing on a spot needed basis 
  • Create SOP for accounts and how to grow Team 
  • Train new hires in same vertical 

Compensation

  • $19.23/Hour

Physical Requirements:

Job functions require long periods of sitting and working from computer workstation; ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize daily workload; excellent organization and record keeping skills; comfortable with oral and written communications, primarily on the telephone and email. Requires extended periods of sitting, normal walking, bending, twisting, and stretching.  Capability of sight and hearing required.  Ability to deal with stressful situations and occasionally working extended hours.
