About The Team

You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Position: Warehouse Equipment Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA or New Jersey

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $60,000 - $90,000 Annual Base Salary + Annual Performance Bonus


What You'll Do:
  • Automation Project Implementation: Assist in planning and executing warehouse automation projects, including the installation, implementation, commissioning, and integration of new equipment with existing warehouse operations and systems.
  • SOP Development & Training: Develop and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the operation and maintenance of automated equipment. Provide training to operators to ensure safe, standardized, and efficient equipment usage.
  • Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated equipment. Respond promptly to equipment abnormalities and issues to ensure stable and reliable operations.
  • Equipment Performance & Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify factors affecting efficiency and reliability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment utilization, improve operational efficiency, and reduce downtime.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Warehouse Operations, Planning, IT, Engineering, and other relevant teams to resolve equipment and operational issues and ensure automation systems continuously and reliably support warehouse operations.

About You:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant Experience: 1+ year of experience with warehouse automation equipment, industrial equipment, equipment maintenance, or a related field. Strong entry-level candidates and recent graduates may also be considered.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of mechanical systems, automation equipment, and related control systems, with the ability to understand equipment operating principles and common failure modes.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Hands-on experience with equipment inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, with the ability to independently analyze and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Basic ability to analyze equipment operating data and identify opportunities for performance and reliability improvements through data-driven problem solving.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Warehouse Operations, Engineering, IT, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Language Skills: Strong English communication skills required. Proficiency in Chinese or other languages is a plus.
