Job Description

Acumatica's Product Marketing team is looking for a strategic Product Marketer with proven experience in ERP, with an emphasis in financial management and business operations.  You'll help us deliver compelling, differentiated messages, position us effectively in the market, and hit it out of the park with our business goals. This role is a full-time opportunity reporting directly to the Director of Product Marketing.

Primary Responsibilities:

Messaging, Positioning & Storytelling

Shape clear, compelling narratives that translate product functionality into meaningful business value for small and mid-sized organizations. Lead the development of all external product positioning and messaging—helping prospects and customers understand not just what Acumatica does, but why it matters—while clearly differentiating our ERP platform in the market.

Thought Leadership & Market Insight

Create differentiated thought leadership assets, messaging, and positioning that establish Acumatica as a trusted voice in modern ERP. Ground our storytelling in an ideal customer profile, industry, and market insights to ensure our communications deeply resonate with audience needs and real-world challenges.

Go‑to‑Market Leadership

Develop and execute end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategies for new product launches and initiatives. Partner closely with product and sales teams to align vision, execution, and timing—ensuring every launch is cohesive, impactful, and built for success.

Customer-Centered Narratives

Partner with our customer advocacy team to review and elevate customer stories and videos, weaving authentic, real‑world outcomes into marketing assets. Use customer evidence to build trust, credibility, and emotional connection across the buyer journey.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work hand‑in‑hand with product teams to stay aligned on roadmaps, priorities, and upcoming capabilities. Serve as a connective tissue across teams, ensuring marketing materials accurately reflect product evolution while amplifying shared goals.

Data‑Informed Strategy

Leverage performance data and analytics to guide marketing strategies, evaluate campaign and launch effectiveness, and continuously refine our approach—balancing insight with creativity to drive stronger outcomes.

Content Experiences & Demos

Create engaging video scripts and perform light video edits in collaboration with professional design and video partners. Develop polished product overview videos and intuitive, point‑and‑click demos that bring key workflows and “how‑to” scenarios to life.

Marketing Enablement

Maintain and evolve core assets—including website messaging, datasheets, and brochures—to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy. Support release planning and help keep internal and external teams aligned on product positioning as offerings grow and change.

Events, Speaking & Community Engagement

Support industry trade shows and events with strong messaging and content. Contribute to partner and customer events through presentations, webinars, and thought leadership sessions—including opportunities to present live—sharing Acumatica’s vision and expertise with confidence and authenticity.

Messaging and Positioning

Translate functionality and benefits into compelling marketing requirements and qualifications.

Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of three to five years of marketing experience is required (product marketing preferred). You must possess a deep knowledge of ERP business management systems, accounting processes, business technology, and B2B marketing strategies.

Education: An educational background in marketing, English, public relations, journalism, business, philosophy, computer science, or a related field.

Skills: You must be an exceptionally strong writer, able to explain complex features using clear, direct language. You must approach every project with an analytical mind and a creative approach to messaging. Excellent organization, multitasking ability, and strong communication are essential.

Technology Proficiency: Experience working with marketing technologies is preferred. This includes WordPress, Jasper or comparable AI tools, Camtasia, Asana, CRM applications, SharePoint, and Wistia.
