We think you’ll appreciate our focus on Conscious Capitalism, which drives business decisions that benefit all our stakeholders (leading to even better business results). You might be drawn to our innovative approach and refusal to settle for the “way things have always been done.” Or you could find it exciting to grow your skills while working for an industry-leading brand. Whether you’re into our values, our brand, or our egg-cellent puns, we hope you’ll join our Crew and help us change the world 108 square feet at a time!

At Vital Farms, we’re proud of the diverse communities we serve and the stakeholders who help bring our purpose to life. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment where every crew member feels valued. We see this as one of our greatest strengths - and your role is key to helping us build on it.

Your Role:

The Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and flawless execution of company-wide events and team offsites at Vital Farms. This role will help bring our culture to life through experiences that connect Crew Members, celebrate milestones, and support our business objectives.

Working closely with the Events Manager and cross-functional partners, the Events Coordinator will manage logistics, timelines, communication, and on-the-ground details to ensure every event is well-organized, on-brand, and reflective of our values.

What You'll Do:

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Support the Events Manager in planning and executing company-wide events (e.g., all-hands meetings, annual gatherings, celebrations, leadership summits, and culture events).
  • Coordinate logistics for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, including venue selection, catering, A/V, transportation, room blocks, and materials.
  • Partner with leaders and key stakeholders to understand goals for each event and translate them into clear event plans and run-of-show documents.
  • Assist with planning and logistics for team offsites, including agenda support, activities, team-building sessions, and on-site coordination.

Logistics & Vendor Management

  • Manage day-to-day event logistics, timelines, and checklists to ensure all details are captured and executed on time.
  • Coordinate with external vendors (venues, hotels, caterers, transportation, production, etc.), including obtaining quotes, tracking deliverables, and managing onsite contacts.
  • Support contract routing and invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budget guidelines.

On-Site & Day-of Event Execution

  • Serve as a key point-of-contact during events, supporting setup, registration, wayfinding, troubleshooting, and breakdown.
  • Ensure event spaces are set up according to plan (seating, signage, décor, A/V, catering placement, swag, etc.).
  • Quickly address day-of issues with a calm, solutions-oriented approach to protect the Crew experience.

Communication & Crew Experience

  • Partner with the Communications team to draft and coordinate event communications such as invitations, registration instructions, reminders, FAQs, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Help ensure events are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with Vital Farms’ values, considering diverse needs and perspectives.
  • Support development of event materials (agendas, presentations, name badges, signage, feedback surveys, etc.).

Project Management & Administration

  • Maintain project plans, timelines, and status trackers for assigned events.
  • Track attendance, confirm RSVPs, and manage registration lists; support post-event reporting and feedback consolidation.
  • Partner with the Events Manager to track spend against budget and help identify cost-effective solutions where possible.
  • Maintain event-related documentation, templates, and process guides to improve consistency and efficiency over time.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 2–4 years of experience in event coordination, event planning, hospitality, marketing, employee engagement, or a related field.
  • Proven experience supporting logistics for corporate events, conferences, offsites, or similar programs (in-person and/or virtual).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines at once.
  • Ability to travel 25-35% to event locations and team offsites
  • High attention to detail and a proactive mindset—you anticipate needs, spot gaps, and follow through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly convey event details and expectations.
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional partners at all levels and providing a high level of service.
  • Ability to remain calm and flexible in fast-moving, changing environments.
  • Proficiency with common tools such as Microsoft Office/Google Suite; experience with event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, registration tools) is a plus.
  • Commitment to creating inclusive, engaging experiences that reflect Vital Farms’ culture and values
  • You’re no hero – You know the power of teamwork and celebrate the work of others before your own.
  • You give a sh*t – You believe in acting like an owner and making Vital Farms a place to be proud of.
  • You raise the standards – You know growth can be hard, but you strive to improve yourself and others each day.
  • You can walk in someone else’s boots – You seek to understand other’s viewpoints and think that you get to better answers by sitting on the same side of the table.
  • You don’t walk on eggshells – You’re not afraid to leave the bullsh*t behind and have honest conversations.
  • We recognize that talent comes in many forms. Even if you don’t meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply. You may have strengths we haven’t yet considered!

What We Bring to the Table:

  • A fast-paced, energetic, remote environment with passionate people who are leading a movement to bring ethically produced food to the table.
  • Competitive pay and benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and Paid Parental Leave, just to name a few).
  • Generous retirement contributions: 401(k) + 3% Contribution from Day 1.
  • Free eggs and butter (yes, really!), along with friends and family discounts.
  • Fun team SWAG that will make you the talk of the town.
  • Professional development opportunities and an amazing team dedicated to your growth.

At Vital Farms, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to, skill level, experience, education, training, market demands, and business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current starting annual base salary for this position is $60,000 - $70,000.
