Executive Assistant to the CFO/SVP for Finance & Administration

NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) is seeking a proactive Executive Assistant to provide advanced administrative, fiscal, and project coordination support to the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President for Finance & Administration (CFO/SVP-FA). This role serves as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, manages sensitive information with discretion, and supports executive priorities, communications, meetings, and cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and able to manage competing priorities with accuracy in a high-visibility executive environment.Essential Duties:
Provide high-level administrative support to the CFO/SVP-FA, including calendar management, scheduling, travel, meeting coordination, and logistics
Prepare and coordinate executive correspondence, reports, presentations, briefing materials, and communications
Manage information flow, track priorities, action items, projects, and deadlines to ensure timely follow-through
Support strategic initiatives, special projects, and cross-functional efforts on behalf of the CFO/SVP-FA
Conduct research, compile information, and prepare materials to support executive planning and decision-making
Support office operations, including records management, purchasing, budget tracking, and administrative processes
Serve as a primary contact for the Office of the CFO/SVP-FA and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate executive-level communications, meetings, events, materials, minutes, and follow-up activities
Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and college goals
Rate of Pay: $19.76 hourly *Higher compensation may be considered based on qualifications directly related to position
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
At least two (2) years of administrative support experience, with demonstrated experience managing confidential information and competing priorities with professionalism and discretion
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in meeting the minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Five (5) years of progressively responsible executive administrative support experience
Experience supporting senior-level leaders in a complex organizational environment
Experience in education
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information
Exceptional organizational, planning, and time-management skills
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to anticipate needs, identify issues, and implement effective solutions
Ability to independently prioritize work and manage multiple competing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor
Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Workday, ServiceNow, and other technologies and the ability to quickly learn and utilize new systems and software applications
Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment

Infrequently, exposure to louder noise levels or physical activities, such as moving lightweight materials, might be required.
