Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Execution of Large Strategic Programs

  • Manage end to end of large, global strategy programs.
  • Build strong relationships with senior executives/ teams, and influence change & transformation efforts.
  • Define objectives, analytical frameworks, and execution roadmaps for strategic projects.
  • Track and achieve financial goals, in collaboration with Finance.
  • Drive process improvement and change management across departments.

Strategy engagements

  • Diagnosis:
    • Understand context, Conduct stakeholder interviews, review internal documents, and analyze market trends.
    • Define problem and assess current state (inc. SWOT, value chain analysis).
    • Identify root causes.
  • Development of Strategic Options
    • Generate hypotheses (inc. brainstorming and benchmark of competitors).
    • Structure options inc. pathways and trade-offs.
  • Forecasting and Financial Assessment
    • Model scenarios and implications under different strategies.
    • Assess risks (strategic, operational, financial) with sensitivity analysis.
    • Prioritize options (ROI, strategic fit, feasibility, stakeholder alignment).
  • Recommendation Development into storyline
    • Synthesize insights (qualitative, quantitative) into a compelling narrative.
    • Craft recommendation with supporting rationale, risks, and mitigation plans.
    • Align stakeholders (facilitate workshops, steering committee) to gain buy-in.
  • Implementation Planning
    • Design execution roadmap (phases, milestones, KPIs).
    • Assign ownership (accountable, cross-functional).
    • Enable change (communication plans, training, governance_.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Identify specific goals to achieve long term vision set by sr leadership.
  • Develop and lead 5-year strategic roadmap aligned with corporate goals and innovation priorities.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify and execute high-impact initiatives across product development, digital transformation, and care delivery.
  • Facilitate strategic forums and ensure alignment with annual budgets and long-term value creation targets.

Support BD Strategy

  • Support prioritization, evaluation and due diligence.
  • Collaborate with BD on pipeline development.

Function Operations

  • Lead operations for Strategy Department
  • Perform Chief of Staff function to CSO
  • Support ad-hoc support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in Strategy, Healthcare, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or healthcare innovation.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in Med Tech, healthcare, or private equity-backed organizations preferred.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $240,000.00-$360,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
