Coordinate and expedite electronic component deliveries by communicating with vendors, reviewing reports and data, resolving delivery issues, and liaising internally with purchasing and customer service to ensure timely inventory operations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Expedites delivery of electronic components within established guidelines and processes.
- Contact vendors via e-mail, phone, and through online portals.
- Reviews reports, analyzes data, and develops productive solutions for expediting product delivery.
- Communicates with vendors to obtain product or service information such as availability and delivery schedule.
- Communicates internally with other Mouser teams including customer service, purchasing, and others as needed to determine and relay delivery needs and information.
- Supports the total quality process and demonstrates a positive attitude toward self and others in a customer service oriented environment.
- Desire, ability, and personality to deal directly with vendors and represent Mouser Electronics.
- Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Skill evaluation: Behavioral (80%); Excel (80%); Numerical Calculation (80%)
- PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment; proficient with internet, e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software.
- Able to use, read and interpret spreadsheets, printed reports and terminal screens.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Proficient in written and oral business communications.
- Clear enunciation of English and a courteous telephone voice and phone hearing.
Expeditor I
- Minimum 2 years post high school experience including minimum 1 year of Inventory Operations experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
