Boeing Global Services (BGS) C-17 Government Repairs is seeking an Expert Supply Base Management Specialist (Level 4) to join our Dallas, TX site.
The ideal Supply Base Management Specialist (Level 4) focus will be on managing our supplier performance and ensuring orders deliver on time to satisfy customer needs while working complex recovery and mitigation plans to avoid risk to overall program schedule.

Position Responsibilities:
- Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, program requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations. Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
- Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs.
- Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies.
- Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies. Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 7+ years of total experience related experienced
- 2+ years of experience in working with cross-functional teams
- 2+ years of experience managing subcontracted efforts and supplier performance throughout the life-cycle
- 2+ years of experience working with customer and supplier requirements to support program deliveries (e.g., planned versus unplanned demand, economic order quantity, resource planning, material type, manufacture or purchase, lead times)
- 2+ years working with suppliers
- Experience in leading complex opportunity capture and problem solving

- 2+ years of experience building and using industry knowledge for planning and performance accomplishment. This includes knowledge of competition and strategic partners
