Salary Range: $73,008-81,640, Ardmore Roderick is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.

We are seeking a new Field Engineer to join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As a Field Engineer, you join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located at the client site, as well as our Chicago, IL office and could have potential to be hybrid depending on the specific client, project and team needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring compliance with the projects’ specifications, timeline, and budget
- Addressing and resolving issues that may arise during the construction process
- Daily interaction with the contractor and project team to confirm the project remains on schedule and under budget
- Maintaining detailed records of daily construction operations
- Attend weekly meetings and provide updates to AR project manager
- Bachelor's Degree – construction management or civil engineering degree
- 1-2 years of field experience
- Ability to interact daily with both the client and contractor on the project
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms
- Have good to great organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in construction management and scheduling software such as Procore and P6
- OSHA 10 or 30 hour training completed
