Snowflake Inc. is looking for a Field Marketing Manager, based in New York, Chicago, or Atlanta. You will be responsible for supporting the Mid-Market Growth & Commercial Expansion Teams in developing and managing field-based demand generation programs and event campaigns to build awareness, drive and nurture leads, and accelerate opportunities to close. This position will collaborate closely with Snowflake’s sales, sales development and campaign marketing teams to plan and execute activities. 

In addition, you must successfully collaborate with a variety of individuals and teams as well as manage numerous projects simultaneously, in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a natural curiosity to learn and to explore.

This role will be required to be in office 3x a week. 

JOB DESCRIPTION :
  • Support Snowflake’s demand generation and sales goals through regional field and industry events 

  • Research, plan and maintain the Snowflake online calendar of events including Snowflake-driven physical and virtual event series, and regional hospitality field events 

  • End-to-end management of logistics and execution for all planned events; help shape event themes, work with outside vendors, oversee fulfillment/inventory levels, manage events’ sales staffing  

  • Collaborate with the Alliances organization on Snowflake’s strategic sponsorships and go-to-market execution plan at partner events 

  • Maintain direct alignment with sales leaders and sales teams in terms of all pre and post-event communication, marketing-driven campaigns, and event promotion strategy 

  • Evaluate all event campaigns’ impact and ROI to determine the success and forecast for potential future investment  

  • Manage and maintain regional field marketing budget 

  • Report on regional event campaign ROI and performance 

RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Plan and execute events within budget

  • Interest in developing creative campaigns and approaches to solve regional challenges.

  • Set goals and define metrics for each event including targeted lead flow

  • Schedule and execute on consistent sales outreach/bi-weekly meetings 

  • Manage internal field and events communication between sales and marketing

  • Support strategic industry events through logistics planning

  • Represent Snowflake to counterparts at partners, vendors, and outside vendors

  • Maintain email/slack responsivity rate within a 24-hour time period

  • Ability to develop creative campaigns and approaches to solve regional challenges

REQUIREMENTS :
  • Knowledge of using marketing tools like Marketo, Salesforce, wordpress

  • Proficiency with office productivity applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Apps)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar field

  • General verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven success in managing field marketing programs and relationships with large enterprise sales organizations

  • Strong project management, time management, and execution skills

  • Embodies strong organizational skills, ability to anticipate the needs of sales

  • Ability to maintain an optimistic, approachable, and self-starter attitude

  • Demonstrates creative spark as expressed in ideas for messaging, creative design, etc.

  • Able to work independently and dedicate a minimum of 40 hours/week

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction

  • Willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your employment and criminal history
