Kaeppel Consulting is looking for a Finance Analyst to work for one of our clients.
Position Type: Long-term Temp Staffing (12-month contract, renewable annually based on performance)
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel (10-20%) to Columbus, Ohio, for training purposes.
Overview:
We are seeking Finance Analysts to support a major insurance and financial services company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. This long-term staffing role addresses high turnover rates and provides analysts with continuity, professional growth, and a clear path for extended engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis utilizing advanced Microsoft tools, particularly Power BI.
  • Generate comprehensive reports to answer critical business questions: "What happened, where did it happen, and why?"
  • Perform root cause analyses to identify underlying issues and recommend actionable insights.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to understand and fulfill analytical and reporting needs.
Qualifications:
  • Expert proficiency in Power BI and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and related products.
  • Proven capability in data analytics, root cause analysis, and advanced reporting methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex financial insights clearly and effectively.
  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally (10-20%) for onsite training and professional development.
