We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Effectiveness Consultant to support key initiatives across our finance transformation projects. This is a delivery-focused role ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in process improvement, data analysis, and finance modernization. Consultants will work closely with Managers and Senior Managers to execute project tasks and contribute to meaningful change for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop client-ready deliverables such as process maps, assessment summaries, and presentation materials.
  • Assist in interviews and workshops with client stakeholders to gather inputs and identify opportunities.
  • Help document future-state designs, business requirements, and action plans for implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and high-quality execution.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing and professional development within the Finance Effectiveness team.

What you must have:

  • 2–5 years of experience in finance transformation, consulting, business transformation, finance, strategy, operations, and/or corporate finance.
  • Experience at a consulting or professional services firm delivering finance transformation, ERP/EPM, business transformation, or operational improvement engagements.

What sets you apart:

  • Experience at a Big 4 firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC).
  • Experience supporting finance transformation initiatives such as finance operating model design, finance process improvement, finance organization redesign, or finance function optimization.
  • Experience owning portions of consulting engagements, project workstreams, PMO activities, and client deliverables.
  • Experience facilitating client workshops, presenting recommendations, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive business decisions.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with ERP, EPM, planning, or finance technologies (e.g., SAP, Oracle, OneStream, Workday, Anaplan, Hyperion, Power BI).
  • Experience with core finance processes such as Record-to-Report (RTR), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, or financial close optimization.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, analytics, process mining, or digital finance technologies to improve finance processes or business operations.

Who thrives here:

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, adaptable, and dependable.
  • High energy with a passion for improving finance organizations and delivering exceptional client service.
