The Opportunity
As a Finance Function Strategy Consulting - Senior Manager, you will specialize in providing consulting services related to financial management and strategy. You will analyze client needs, develop financial solutions, and offer guidance to help clients optimize their financial performance and achieve their goals. Within our Management Consulting practice, you will focus on helping clients enhance their finance function and organizational structure by analyzing current finance operating models, identifying gaps, and designing solutions to improve processes and roles.
As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your skills and professional networks to deliver quality results. You will motivate and coach teams to solve complex problems, applying sound judgment and recognizing when to take action. Your role involves crafting clear, impactful messages and directing teams through challenging situations. You will deepen your skills, initiate open coaching conversations, and make decisions to resolve issues affecting team effectiveness.
In this role, you will provide guidance on finance transformation initiatives, change management, and talent development to align the finance function with strategic objectives. Your commitment to developing high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams will contribute to the success of our firm.
Responsibilities
- Leading finance function optimization projects to enhance organizational structure and processes
- Analyzing current finance operating models to identify gaps and inefficiencies
- Designing and implementing solutions to improve finance processes, roles, and responsibilities
- Providing strategic guidance on finance transformation initiatives and change management
- Developing financial solutions to optimize client financial performance and decision-making
- Coaching and motivating teams to solve complex financial management challenges
- Applying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities in finance operations
- Validating outcomes with clients and acting on feedback to refine financial strategies
- Directing teams through complex and ambiguous situations with composure
- Crafting and conveying clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic financial story
- Initiating open and honest coaching conversations to foster team development
- Making informed decisions to resolve issues affecting team effectiveness
- Modeling and reinforcing professional and technical standards within the finance function
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 7 years of experience

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Finance
- Demonstrating advanced skills in financial modeling and forecasting
- Leading complex finance transformation projects with strategic impact
- Utilizing data visualization tools to enhance decision-making processes
- Applying systems thinking to identify and solve underlying business challenges
- Excelling in crafting and conveying clear, impactful messages to stakeholders
- Developing and sustaining diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams
The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $280,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
