Finance Lead, Global FP&A – JLL

Location: Chicago, IL (hybrid)

What this job involves:

As a Finance Lead on JLL's Global FP&A team, you'll be at the center of our enterprise-wide financial reporting and analysis function, directly supporting CFO-cycle deliverables and senior leadership decision-making. This role offers the unique opportunity to gain comprehensive visibility across JLL's operating segments while owning critical reporting processes that drive strategic business decisions. Working closely with the Finance Director and cross-functional partners, you'll synthesize complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that inform executive strategy. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • You'll prepare monthly actuals and forecast commentary with variance analysis, crafting clear narratives on key business drivers across JLL's operating segments.
  • Managing J10 reporting and AR Metrics on a monthly basis, you'll ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment while analyzing trends and escalating material variances to stakeholders.
  • During monthly close cycles, you'll support the consolidation engine to ensure accurate aggregation of segment financials for downstream reporting.
  • You'll serve as a core contributor to executive-facing deliverables including the GEB Deck, Forecast Deck, and ARC Deck, collaborating with team members to maintain data integrity and develop compelling narratives.
  • Conducting quarterly deep-dive analyses on segment financial performance, you'll identify trends, risks, and opportunities while maintaining the risk-adjusted forecasting framework and R&O register.
  • You'll coordinate work across FDP and JBS analyst teams, reviewing outputs and ensuring deliverable quality while mentoring team members through shifting priorities.

  • Global FP&A team, you'll translate complex financial results into accessible insights that drive business understanding and continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, with CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.
  • You bring 6–10 years of progressive finance experience focused on financial reporting and analysis, with demonstrated ownership of recurring reporting deliverables in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Experience working within or alongside enterprise-level FP&A functions is essential, with exposure to segment or business unit reporting strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, coupled with strong financial modeling and variance analysis capabilities, is required.
  • You possess a solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards, along with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to senior audiences.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining accuracy under pressure, with demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence across functions without direct authority.
  • Experience coordinating work across cross-functional or matrixed teams, with a proactive mindset and history of identifying and driving process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Real estate industry experience and familiarity with JLL's business model and operating segments.
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SmartView, or Oracle OCI. Prior exposure to CFO-cycle reporting packages or board-level materials preparation.
  • Background in consolidation processes and enterprise financial systems.
  • Experience mentoring or developing junior analysts.
  • Familiarity with risk and opportunity tracking frameworks and risk-adjusted forecasting methodologies.
  • Track record of implementing automation or process efficiency improvements in recurring reporting workflows.

Estimated compensation for this position:

150,000.00 – 180,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
