As the Finance Manager – Project Licensing, you will be a vital leader in shaping the financial strategy supporting Project Execution and Licensing within Honeywell. Your role will involve providing insights and recommendations that drive topline revenue, optimize direct margin, and foster order growth across project execution activities.
You will report directly to the Sr. Director, Finance – Projects & Engineering and work out of our Rosemont, IL location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities· Drive Licensing P&L Performance from Revenue to Gross Margin.
· Provide insights and recommendations to drive topline revenue, optimize direct margin , Gross Profit and order growth in support of Project Execution and Licensing.
· Strategically partner with Project Execution leadership to ensure sustainable growth and margin expansion.
· Be able to provide quick Contracts analysis identifying gaps and opportunities
· Collaborate across execution and controllership teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, revenue recognition, strategic alignment, and robust forecasting for project portfolios.
· Drive cash flow analysis including oversight of aged past-due recovery actions.
· Conduct detailed financial analysis to support project execution, Licensing initiatives, and strategic planning.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
· Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance or related roles
· Clear understanding of contractual Terms and conditions
· Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex financial data
· Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical tools
· Experience using financial reporting systems and ERP platforms

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
· Experience in financial leadership roles within a corporate environment
· High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
· Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
· Experience supporting engineering, Licensing, project execution, or industrial business lines (preferred but not required)
The annual base salary range for this position is $117,000-150,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
