We are seeking an experienced Partnerships Account Manager to join our Partnerships as a Service Agency. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor and hands-on operator for clients, guiding them through the complete lifecycle of partnership program development—from initial strategy through building, launching, scaling, and ongoing management.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Ideation
  • Collaborate with clients to define partnership strategy aligned with business objectives

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify partnership opportunities

  • Develop partnership program frameworks and value propositions

  • Create partnership roadmaps with clear milestones and success metrics

Program Building & Launch
  • Design partnership program structures, tiers, and benefit packages

  • Develop partner onboarding processes and enablement materials

  • Create partnership agreements, terms, and legal frameworks (in collaboration with client teams)

  • Establish partnership operations including workflows, tools, and systems

  • Implement and configure Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platforms

Scaling & Growth
  • Identify and recruit strategic partners aligned with client objectives

  • Build and execute partner acquisition strategies

  • Develop partner marketing and co-marketing initiatives

  • Create partner enablement programs including training and certification

  • Optimize partner engagement and activation strategies

Program Management
  • Manage day-to-day partnership operations and partner relationships

  • Monitor partnership performance metrics and KPIs

  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners

  • Identify and resolve partner issues and escalations

  • Continuously optimize program performance based on data insights

Client Consultation
  • Serve as trusted advisor on partnership best practices and industry trends

  • Provide strategic recommendations for program evolution

  • Present regular progress reports and insights to client stakeholders

  • Facilitate executive-level partnership discussions and alignment

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or channel management

  • Proven track record of building and scaling successful partnership programs from inception

  • Strong understanding of partnership program mechanics including economics, incentive structures, and enablement

  • Excellent strategic thinking with ability to translate business objectives into partnership strategies

  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Exceptional communication skills including executive-level presentation abilities

  • Data-driven mindset with experience defining and tracking partnership metrics

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts and working in a fractional or consulting capacity

  • Experience with vertical-specific SaaS solutions and/or partnership programs (e.g., healthcare, financial services, retail, technology) and understanding of industry-specific partnership dynamics

  • Hands-on experience with Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platforms such as: Salesforce PRM, Impartner, PartnerStack or similar platforms

  • Experience with different partnership models including reseller, referral, integration, technology, and strategic alliances

  • Knowledge of partner ecosystems and marketplace dynamics

  • Familiarity with partner marketing automation and co-marketing tools

  • Experience in agency or consulting environments serving multiple clients

Work Environment

This is a fractional role supporting multiple clients simultaneously. The position offers flexibility in work location and schedule, with the expectation of being available during core business hours for client meetings. Travel may be required occasionally for client meetings, partner events, or industry conferences.
