Job Description:

CSI, one of the nation's leading fintech companies, is seeking a customer-focused and analytical Fraud Analyst to join our Card Fraud Operations team. In this role, you will help protect financial institutions and cardholders by identifying suspicious activity, investigating potential fraud cases, responding to customer inquiries, and supporting fraud prevention efforts.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor fraud alerts and investigate potentially fraudulent transactions and account activity.

  • Analyze suspicious behaviors and identify fraud trends and patterns.

  • Verify fraud activity by contacting cardholders and financial institutions.

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer communications related to fraud, lost cards, stolen cards, and account concerns.

  • Review and manage fraud-related tickets, requests, and escalations.

  • Collaborate with internal teams including fraud operations, card services, payments, and dispute teams.

  • Support fraud prevention initiatives and process improvements.

  • Serve as an escalation point for more complex fraud cases.

  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of investigations and outcomes.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to confidently handle phone conversations with customers and financial institutions.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

  • Ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fraud investigation, fraud operations, or risk management experience.

  • Banking, payments, financial services, or fintech experience.

  • Experience working with CRM or case management systems.

  • SQL knowledge for research and data analysis.

  • Experience supporting customers in a call center or operations environment.

Work Schedule

This position supports a 24/7/365 operation.

  • 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM Central Time

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week

  • Includes rotating weekends and holidays
