YOUR PURPOSE
Coin Metrics is recruiting a Frontend Developer to work on data visualization tools, company’s website and user interface for backend software, initially as a one-man team.
If you are passionate about digital assets and data-driven solutions and have a knack for building code using Kotlin, Java and Python, we would love to hear from you.
YOUR VALUE
- Collaborate with UX and Product teams to design new Dashboard application
- Engineer data visualization tools & other UI for both external and internal use
- Develop new Dashboard application
- Integrate with Coin Metrics backend API to seamlessly retrieve the data
- Build test cases for the new code
- Assist in building the frontend development team
YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- A decent understanding of classical data structures and algorithms, basic CompSci theory
- Advanced knowledge of Web technologies in general
- Experience with IndexedDB & WebWorkers required. SSE is preferred
- Expertise in frontend frameworks, specially a recent version of React
- Experience with tools & transpilers such as Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn, nginx, k8s, GitLab pipelines, etc
- Strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurial spirit, and/or startup-like experience, capable of driving towards solutions independently while seeking feedback when appropriate
- Strong focus to frontend application performance
- Required: strong attention to detail with the capability to write tests and documentation
- Experience with JS data visualization and charting libraries - e.g. Plotly is preferred
