Lead frontend development using React.js and Next.js, mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver performant, scalable UIs, conduct code reviews, ensure technical feasibility of designs, troubleshoot issues, participate in agile ceremonies, and promote best practices including testing, SSR, and containerization.
What will you do?
- Lead the development of web applications using React.js and next js
- Mentor and coach junior developers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in React.js development
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- English/Spanish language requirement is an added advantage
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with English/Spanish language
- 10+ years of experience in front-end development
- 10+ years of experience with React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, Flux, etc.) and
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
- Experience with server-side rendering and next js
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Strong understanding of version control systems such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of GraphQL
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal GitHub repositories
