About the Role

Novotech, a globally recognized leader in clinical research and scientific advisory services, is seeking a Global Associate Director of Commercial Marketing to drive revenue growth through strategic and executional marketing initiatives across global markets.

Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing, this is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading a distributed team of regional marketing managers and ensuring marketing delivers measurable commercial outcomes across pipeline generation, conversion, and revenue.

This is a high-impact, player-coach role requiring a leader who is deeply metric-driven, highly adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving global organization. The successful candidate will be a visible and accessible leader, able to build trust across regions while maintaining high-performance standards. They will operate effectively in an environment where priorities, structure, and focus areas may evolve, while maintaining momentum and performance. 


Responsibilities 

Revenue & Commercial Impact

  • Own global marketing contribution to revenue, including pipeline generation, conversion rates, and marketing-sourced/influenced revenue. 
  • Partner closely with Business Development and Commercial Leadership to align marketing strategies with sales targets and regional growth priorities. 

 

Hands-On Execution & Campaign Leadership

  • Actively lead and contribute to the execution of integrated marketing campaigns (digital, ABM, content, events). 
  • Personally engage in high-priority initiatives, key accounts, and global campaigns where impact is critical. 

 

Global Strategy & Alignment

  • Define and lead the global commercial marketing strategy, aligned with the vision set by the Global Head of Marketing. 
  • Translate evolving commercial objectives into scalable, high-impact programs across regions. 

 

Team Leadership, Mentorship & Capability Building

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of regional marketing managers, fostering both accountability and growth. 
  • Act as a hands-on coach and accessible leader, supporting teams through both execution and change. 

 

Performance, Analytics & Optimization

  • Establish and lead a rigorous, metrics-driven approach to marketing performance, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline and campaign performance tracking. 
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide clear visibility into regional and global performance. 



Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a strategic partner to key stakeholders. 
  • Ensure strong alignment between marketing, business development, and regional teams. 

Qualifications and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on commercial, demand generation, or growth marketing. 
  • Proven track record of driving measurable revenue and pipeline impact. 
  • Strongly metrics-driven mindset, with deep experience in funnel management, performance tracking, and ROI accountability. 
  • High level of adaptability and resilience, comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and organizational change. 
  • Experience in a hands-on marketing leadership role—comfortable executing as well as leading. 
  • Experience managing and developing global or multi-regional teams. 
  • Strong mentorship capability with a track record of building high-performing teams. 
  • Leadership style that is accessible, responsive, and highly engaged with distributed teams. 
  • Deep understanding of pipeline development, sales cycles, and revenue operations. 

 

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in life sciences, CRO, biotech, or healthcare sectors. 
  • Experience operating in complex, matrixed, global organizations. 
  • Familiarity with long, enterprise-level sales cycles.
