Citi Wealth Investment Solutions is seeking a Head of Platform Management for its Alternatives (Private Equity, Real Estate, and Hedge Fund) business. This position will be responsible for managing a team that oversees the lifecycle of global Alternative Investment products. The Head of Alternatives Platform Management will collaborate closely with Research, Sales, Investment Manager Due Diligence and other key functional partners that support the broader Alternatives and Investment Manager Solutions (AIMS) business. This position will report to the Head of AIMS.
The Head of Alternatives Platform Management is responsible for managing a broad range of Product Management, Development and Business Execution functions, including the development of product plans, strategies, and process improvements in coordination with the broader AIMS team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage global team of product and platform professionals
- Own end-to-end Alternatives platform initiatives, collaborating with Technology, Operations, and other key business partners to improve ease of use for Citi Wealth stakeholders
- Negotiate and make decisions on issues/activities having critical impact/influence on company revenues, capital, or business operations
- Develop plans and execute functional strategies for large/complex business requirements, ensuring coordination and integration across regions and functions
- Establish and maintain relationships with risk, business risk, compliance, and other relevant groups within Citi, as well as develop and ensure execution of the business strategy
- Partner with other global, regional, and country leaders to share best practices and drive business strategies and client centric solutions to differentiate Citi in the marketplace
- Engage in internal and external negotiations
- Attract, motivate, develop, and retain executive talent
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the Firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of relevant experience
- 10+ years of managerial experience
- Experience managing multi-function and/or global businesses
- Experience managing in a large, complex and matrixed organization
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in asset management industry
- Experience within wealth industry and knowledge of competitor products, services, and capabilities
- Consistently demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Client centric and change oriented mindset
- Series 7 and 24
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
