Government Subcontract Specialist I or II

LEVEI I

  • Estimated annual base pay: $62,000.00 (minimum) - $80,000.00 (midpoint) - $99,000.00 (maximum)

LEVEL II

  • Estimated annual base pay: $72,000.00 (minimum) - $93,000.00 (midpoint) - $115,000.00 (maximum)
  • All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity.

LEVEL I

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and Management: In direct alignment with proposal manager for the prime contract, managing the solicitation activities for all associated subcontract managers.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Capable of identifying inefficiencies within sourcing and subcontracting processes and implementing effective improvements to enhance overall performance.
  • Documentation Management: Maintains accurate and organized records of all subcontracting activities, contracts, and related documentation.
  • Communication Coordination: Acts as a liaison between Subcontract Managers, Proposal Managers, Contracts, and Suppliers to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

LEVEL II

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary liaison between Subcontract Management, Category Management, PLC teams, and Contracts Compliance for government contracting activities
  • Develop solicitation packages, review supplier proposals, and prepare proposal analysis files
  • Create subcontract file package structures and supporting documentation to meet compliance requirements
  • Ensure subcontract compliance before approval and assist with subcontract closeout activities
  • Train, mentor, and support teams on subcontracting processes, standard work, and compliance execution
  • Track key metrics, support continuous improvement efforts, and help resolve procurement issues in project and program work
  • Manage RFQs and enter subcontract data accurately into ERP systems such as SAP and WISE
