Responsibilities

Claim & Litigation Management
 a) Manage and optimize end-to-end user claims process, including evaluation, rejection, and appeal of claim cases within agreed timelines. 
b) Careful usage of the claim payout expenditure, ensuring that it is kept within the approved annual budget, optimizing financial resources while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
 c) Manage high-priority and critical claims, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolutions while maintaining professional communication with customers. 
d) Correspond with customers via email on claim matters such as the status or progress of the claim as well as any other queries. Job holder must consult HOU, HOD and/or the Department’s Legal Advisor before responding to the customer, depending on the complexity of the case. 
e) Attend to walk-in customers and/or communication via phone calls regarding claim matters. 
f) Share knowledge or feedback on process improvement with team members and relevant staff in the Company to enhance their skills and competencies which can ensure error-free and timely task execution. 
Insurance & Process Improvement 
a) Work closely with respective departments to resolve insurance issues, expedite claim requirements, and ensure problems are addressed promptly through established processes. 
b) Follow up with Insurance Brokers/Insurers regarding policy documents, promptly notify any discrepancies, and ensure timely issuance of endorsements and updates. 
c) Support the HOU/HOD in managing relationships with insurers, brokers, adjusters, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth insurance processes and stay compliant with relevant regulations.
 d) Assist in monitoring litigated claims especially under the Public Liability and Motor Insurance policies, to ensure that all claims are properly facilitated and adhere to policy terms and applicable laws.
Recovery & Budget Management
 a) Initiate and enter the recovery number as a new potential claim into the RVO PowerApps platform.
 b) Examine and verify the sufficiency of supporting documents uploaded by the respective Section’s person in charge in the PowerApps platform. 
c) Upon receiving payment notification from TRS, conduct a matching process to align records of registered RVO cases with the payment notification, ensuring accurate updates to the RVO record database or master list. 
d) Examine and verify sufficiency of supporting documents uploaded by respective Section’s person in charge in CMS. 
e) Update details of acceptance DV offer amount and acceptance date of DV offer from 3rd party insurance into CMS. 
Ad-hoc 
a) Actively participate in providing feedback and support to HOU/HOD for day-to-day claim assessment operational related matters/issues. 
b) Carry out any other tasks as instructed by the HOU/ HOD as and when necessary.

Qualifications

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree

CGPA: 3.0 and above
